The Los Angeles Journal is a grassroots, local effort that serves the writers and artists of our not-always-humble home.  From the casual reader to the professional artist, the Los Angeles Journal is the perfect magazine for creative locals.

Our content includes an Around Town section (named changed from the early “The City” to add to the local feel), Features section, a Theater section, Music section, Listings section (of all the neat places artistes like to check out), Literary section, and Art Galleries (full of digital goodness).  Our website is especially exciting for its interactive forums (talk to all the other people with your interests!) and classifieds listings geared towards artists and literary types.

All of our stories are in some way connected to Los Angeles and to creative pursuits.  So you\’ll definitely enjoy a story on local retro film houses, but are unlikely to see something about national-level politics.
